Claires Magnetic Polish - An Apology

Yesterday I blogged about Claires Accessories Magnetic Polish, I stated how much I was utterly disappointed with the outcome. Well, I must have pulled a proper 'Terri Lowe' with that one; rushing, being inpatient, not reading instructions and generally fudging something up that is actually quite good if you do it properly!
As you can see, there's a mega difference between the outcome today and the outcome yesterday, and I shall admit my mistake and send my apologies to Claires, you did no wrong! I'm genuinely surprised and pleased with this varnish now. The trick is to hold the magnet still (yeah I wiggled it a lot yesterday thinking it would make the effect more interesting) and apply the coat as evenly as possible (not rushing it and making it blobby). I admit I would like the process to be a bit quicker as you literally have to do each nail separately. But overall, if you take your time and do it right, it works just as it says! And it looks pretty good. It's reminds me of beads that I don't know the exact name of, with a kind of 3d effect. I also think the shade of green is really nice too, it came in a few colours including blue and gold.... That'll teach me to not do things properly, eh!
