Apple and Kiwi Relentless

I've officially ended my search for the Coconut flavour Rockstar. I don't know how many times I can tweet hint a company that I can't find it anywhere so they've gotta give me either a stockist or a sample! Haha. Anyway, I was browsing Sainsbury's the other day and noticed the label for this beauty - Apple and Kiwi Relentless. Energy drinks are getting so exotic lately, I'm waiting for the Monster with Tea in it  to go on offer so I can try it! But alas, it's a flavour that could either be nom or vom so I'm not going to try it at full price. I think my favourite range of energy drinks at the moment is Rockstar ones despite their cringey brand name. Anyway, apple and kiwi relentless, it's a NEW REFRESHING FLAVOUR. And check out the can, the colours are so pretty.
I have to admit, caffeine makes me pee like nobody's business. I can go on the hour, every hour and then some inbetween but I'm not going to let that spoil trying new things, I just wish they would start doing these big cans of drink in a bottle so I don't have to drink it all at once! I immediately cracked the can open and had a slurp. What a miniature taste sensation.
It was pretty refreshing. That's fo' sho'. And thankfully it doesn't have the 'red bull' taste to it like a lot of flavoured energy drinks tend to have (the berry relentless has it, just so you know what I'm on about, still yum though) It wasn't as fizzy as I expected though, more like it had gone a bit flat or something. But the flavour was there. It could have done with been slightly more Kiwi-ed as apple isn't really an exciting flavour within itself but I understand Kiwi is fairly subtle. It's great for a change as there are a lot of same flavour variants out there for energy drinks, but I probably wouldn't buy it again unless it was on offer. I wanted to love it but it just wasn't special enough, wah wah.

  1. The monster with tea is kinda odd... It's a still drink, which is unusual when you are expecting/ are used to fizzy! And the taste is so hard to describe. Just a bit...weird. Worth a try, though.I really want to try this new relentless! Makes a change to the red bull taste, as you mentioned!

  3. This is oooold news but have you tried the orange Relentless? I can't have them as I totally lose my mind after an energy drink but that one tastes amazing, like what you expect orange soda to taste like after watching Kenan and Kel.
