Revitalising & Refreshing Dry Shampoo

Revitalising and Refreshing is a nice little budget range you can find exclusively at your local Asda. I absolutely love their range of bubble baths which come in at a bargain £1 a bottle. I've been eyeing up the Dry Shampoo for a while now as it's only £1.50 and came in two fragrances, which both intrigued me more than any 'limited edition' Batiste could do.
I'm going to tell you now, I am a long time loather of Dry Shampoo. I've tried it a few times, and a few varieties, even that Tressem√© foam crap and have not exactly been thrilled with the results. I always just wonder what the point of dry shampoo is when I could just you know, wash my hair? But nevertheless it's one of those things people like OMGZ CNT LIVE WITHOUT, so this further fuels my urge to need to like them! Also I do wash my hair daily which is probably not too good for it as I'm washing away all the natural oils or something like that.
Anyway, I thought for £1.50 I would try them AGAIN, the main thing that appealed to me with this one is the smell like I have said. It's lovely. Anything with 'Rose' in is my fave. Also isn't the packaging just lovely for a cheapo Asda brand? I tell thee what, even Tesco Value has had a packaging design facelift lately, a good font and colour scheme goes a long way nowadays.
The only thing that put me off this was the melodramatic schpeel on the back of how it's going to melt away my stress and restore my sense of well-being. Er, Asda, IT'S DRY SHAMPOO? If it prevents me from looking like a shower shy crack whore I'm happy OK? I don't need a spiritual journey or anything, especially not for £1.50. What I can tell you though, is that it worked, IT WORKED! HURRAH IT WORKS. My disdain for dry shampoo is no more. It made my hair instantly fluffy and smell like a, I dunno, something exotic. It doesn't have the weird smell all of the Batiste ones seem to have that I can't put my finger on. It also doesn't 'talc' up too much in my hair which was a main reason I disliked Batiste too. Winner. If dry shampoo isn't for you I urge you to check out this range for other goodies. They all smell amazing for such a low price.

  2. That actually sounds pretty good! I dislike batiste too (too expensive) and tresemme foam (just made my hair wet lol).

Also a tip for anyone with blonde hair; just use baby talc. I've started doing so now, and not only does it make your hair lighter, it also smells quite nice :)

  3. Spiritual journey hahaha :-D - I've never tried a dry shampoo before but have heard other bloggers rave about them.

I was tempted by the Lush one a while ago but might have to try this one instead as it's a heck of a lot cheaper!
