Accessorize Make Up Bargains

Can you just excuse me for a for seconds whilst I get to grips with how FREAKING WONDERFUL THIS STUFF IS......

That'll do, I'm ok now.
I've been eyeing up Accessorize Make up ever since it first hit the shelves in my local Superdrug store. The packaging is the shabby chic kind of goodness I go for and the colour range is amazing. However, I always talk myself out of making the purchases just before I get to the checkout, no idea why this is though. I guess I should be thankful for that now though as I've picked up all the things I've been eyeing up all this time for £12! YES, ALL OF THESE THINGS COST A TOTAL OF £12 (soz about the caps lock) But I feel this is something to shout about!
The offers were slightly random though, each product had a different amount of money off. For example the nail varnishes had a £1 off and the baked eyeshadow had a £2 off and the blusher (I think) was half price. Confusing but I aint gonna complain.
How gorgeous is the packaging for the lipstick? The shade I chose is named 'besotted' and that I am Accessorize - that I am! So please with this colour. The formula is slightly 'hard' though but I've had it on since I shamelessly tried it in the store and it's not budged yet! It's a lovely light pink colour and cost £2.95.
Next I bought some more green eyeshadow. If you remember the series of hoarding blog posts I wrote a while ago you will know that green is the only colour eyeshadow I own, mainly shit green too. It's my favourite! I love all three of these tones in this baked trio and best of all? The price - £2.97 hashtagBOOM.
The blusher has been the main object of my affection since I first spotted the Accessorize range way back when. They look so amazing, with their shimmery finish and marbled colours. I chose a more coral tone than I usually go for as I've got quite the selection of pinky blushers so went for something completely different. Once again it came in at a bargain - £2.95!
And finally the nail varnishes. There were so many to choose from! It was hard to narrow it down but I limited myself to only two. The first one is a Metallic One Coat shade called 'Gem'. It's a really lovely shade and it does exactly what it says on the bottle; one coat and you're done! Price? £1.95. All of the nail varnishes were reduced to £1.95 in fact. So I also picked up a glitter one in Pink Rose. It's a lovely cerise shade with lots of tiny sparkles in.
So all in all a magnificent haul if I do say so myself! All the items are pretty good quality and make a nice looking addition to my make up bag. I can only assume the price reduction is due to Accessorize launching some new products in the next few weeks. So grab them while they're there! You probably won't regret it. All these products were from Superdrug and I am unsure if they are the same reduced price or remain at full RRP in Accessorize/Monsoon stores.

  5. I too purchased a blusher and lipstick from Accessorize. I just got up to see which lipstick I got and it was also 'Besotted' :D

I too find it slightly hard, however it is much better with a balm on before and then the lipstick. It lasts well too!
