The Felt Tip Eyeliner Game Changer

Make up revolution awesome double flick eyeliner review on british beauty blog.

Every day I wear eyeliner. Without fail. For around 10 years I have stuck to my trusty fine line across me upper lids, that turns these piggy peepers in to something much more alluring. Having such a big ol' round face, I need a distinct series of cheats to create a more structured look and prevent me looking like someone has done a finger painting of a lady on an egg, which consists of lots of circles. Alas, black liquid eyeliner has always been the answer to my facial woes, and I do not set foot out of the door without it. I find it so easy to slick on a line of black liquid across my upper lash line in a hurry and there's rarely an error after so many years of practise, so to stray away from the trusty pot and fine brush method is always a risk. I've tried gel eyeliners and felt tip eyeliners in the past to no avail. Gel liners are always brilliant to start with, but after a while I get bored of the effort it takes to warm them up slightly in the pot and I just can't get the same precise definition as I can with a product like the Essence Liquid Ink liner (featured in a previous blog post here).

It seems we have a game changer in our midst though. The new Make Up Revolution Awesome Double Flick Felt eyeliner recently popped through my letter box and it's been part of my daily routine ever since. For the affordable price of £3.50 a whirl, I initially thought 'here we go, another felt eye liner which is going to be awful to apply and dry up after the second use' but no. How wrong could I be? After 2 weeks of use every day the nib is just as moist (ew) as when it was freshly opened. The application is sleek, and the opaque black liquid glides on with minimal effort. It's not too soft and not too sturdy when it comes to the felt nib department either, with each side making eye liner application a breeze. Although to be honest, it does seem that both sides are pretty similar, so it doesn't matter which I use to create my ever day cat eye flick (although one side is meant to be for fine lines and the other for a thicker effect).

So there we have it, an eye liner game changer for you all to enjoy. Don't bother with the other felt liners on the shelves, because this Make Up Revolution version is the one.

    1. I've always found felt liners to be clumsy and awful, but this one you really can't go wrong with!

  3. I'm almost always wearing eyeliner, even if it's only a very thin subtle line, I feel naked without it! I've tried loads of felt eyeliners myself and it has just put me off them. They all seem to dry up after a few uses, expensive or cheap. But this one is a really good price so maybe I will give it a go :) thanks for sharing this!

    1. Sounds like we've both had the same experience when it comes to felt liners! That means you might actually like this one like I do, haha.
