Oh gahhddddd, life is so busy lately. I’ve been neglecting my little space on the internet here on the blog. Eep. I’ve had so much to be getting on with, I’ve been at my new job for 2 weeks now, but it actually seems like about 2 years! In a really good way though. Everyone has been so welcoming and the job itself keeps me rushed off my little size 5 feet. Before I decided to take this new job, I was in absolute TURMOIL over the decision, but it turned out to be the best decision I’ve made for a while so all’s good in the T Lowe hood.
Isn’t is lovely? Isn’t it beautiful? I’ve been lusting after this perfume for YEARS. Seriously, since about 2011 when I first got a tiny whiff of the body cream in a goody bag. Alas, the price of this perfume has never been very affordable. Lolita Lempicka Eau de Parfume usually comes in at around £66 for 100ml in every other shop, ever. Recently I spotted it over on Fragrance Direct for half price. I actually waited until pay day to buy it too, so it felt like a proper little treat. I never usually wait and just think ‘meh, gonna buy it anyway, may as well get it now!’ but I have been distinctly pauper like since Christmas so patience won this time.
So, what’s it smell like eh?
It’s a tricky one to put my finger on really. Especially in a bloody blog post. It’s kind of like a creamy vanilla, with a violet kind of smell, entwined with a underlying smell of licorice. As I said, it’s kind of hard to explain. The easiest thing to do is probably go in to Superdrug where they’ve started to sell it behind the fragrance counter and ask for a whiff. Oh, and then come on the internet and get it half price if you liked it too.
As you can see, the bottle is amazing and really was the main reason I justified the person. Because I am shallow like that. The perfume actually squirts out from the stem itself, which you do have to be quite precious with, as when I posted a picture of it on Instagram a few people said they’d broken theirs, boooo. Mine is in working order for now anyway and I hope it will be FOREVER.
You can grab this online alongside all the other fragrances in the Lolita Lempicka range at Fragrance Direct here.
