I must admit, for a short while there I fell a little bit out of love with Make Up Revolution. I’m not sure why, I think it was just the disappointment from that stippling brush I bought or something, but it’s safe to say that I’ve just rekindled my fondness anyway. Especially after receiving a selection of their brand new budget lip liners, which all cost a mere £1 each.
Yup, that’s right, a quid each.
Make Up Revolution Lip Liner
I’m a big fan of lip liner. Not used as a lip liner though, but used as a lip stick. They always last FOREVER and are really easy to apply. Sometimes they can be a little drying, which is a pain, but it’s nothing a dab of balm over the colour doesn’t solve. To be fair though, I’ve not experienced any dryness with the Make Up Revolution lip liners yet anyway and they’re a creamy yet matte finish on the lips. The best part of them, is that even for the smallest price tag in the universe ever, they still have a handy sharpener inside the lid part, meaning you can top up your lip colour out and about even when you’ve worn it down to the stick part.
My absolute favourite from the range is ‘Rebel’ which is a deep berry red shade and perfect for wearing under my Too Faced Colour Bomb Balm in ‘Bigger Berry’ as it teams perfectly with the shade. Not only have Make Up Rev released these lip liners for £1 each, but they have also launched some more eye liners which can be used on the lips too, which you can find here. Equally as pigmented and creamy, the have all colours ranging from classic red shades to blues and lilacs. Perfect for experimenting with some bolder lip colours at an affordable price!
