Forest Feast Koh Samui Thai Spice Nuts

Forest Feast Koh Samui Thai Spice Nuts

You know when you're trying to do that healthy living thing, then stroll down the wrong aisle in the supermarket with an empty stomach and then buy EVERYTHING? Yeah, I did that the other day in Asda and ended up wandering aimlessly around for about an hour, picking up crisps, sweets, lipsticks(?!) and these Forest Feast Nuts.

There were four varieties on the shelf in the Forest Feast Street Food Nut collection, and for £1.50 a packet the intrigue got the better of me. I picked up the 'Koh Samui Thai Spice' ones as they ticked the box for everything I love in a snack combination - spice, sweet and unique. Within the packet there is a healthy mix of spicy-sweet honey red pepper almonds, which are DELICIOUS on their own, but when mixed with the spiced cashews  and chewy pineapple and coconut pieces it's a next level taste sensation.

I did pick up the other versions on a second visit to Asda and got the Street Food Ir De Tapas, which had a nice tangy spice to them, and the Kerala Cashew and Coconut Spice, which had some rice crackers in it too. The original Thai inspired nuts are definitely my favourite though, for both the flavour combinations and the textures inside the bag. The others just don't come close!
