Autumn Vibes

In a stark contrast to my last blog post, the weather has certainly taken a turn for the chilly this week hasn't it? I personally cannot wait until the winter is here properly and I don't have to wake up every morning trying to dress for cold winds followed by blazing sunshine. At the moment it seems the temperature is more indecisive than I was in Primark the other day where I couldn't decide between 4 pairs of shoes - so bought them all.

There are perks to Autumnal weather though, I mean I don't need an excuse to wear burgundy and mustard together on a daily basis, and this time of year is perfect to start introducing this kick ass colour combo back in to my wardrobe. I mean, seriously. Have two colours ever been more meant for each other?  It's also the perfect excuse to mix up your make up and exchange the fresh-faced looks of summer and go for smoky eye looks and blend those brown hues like your life depends on it. The new New-trals vs Neutrals Palette from Make Up Revolution is the only addition you need to your make up bag to transition in to the colder months. With a mix of highly pigmented eyeshadows from slightly sparkly creams to deep browns and blacks, it's an affordable and idiot-proof way to experiment with darker shades in your daily make up look.

  1. Despite HATING the cold weather, I actually really look forward to autumn/winter. The fashion is better, the makeup is vampier and I can eat loads of cake as the crop tops go away for the season...

  2. My favourite part of Autumn is the hibernation element, it's okay to stay in reading with a hot beverage while the weather goes a little crazy outside. =^-^=
