Styling a Vintage Denim Shift Dress From Loot Vintage

Shift dresses are so totally, like, in right now and I'm slowly but surely building up my collection. I managed to bag this one from Loot Vintage the other day, for the bargain price of 21quidddd. Which is pretty good going when you consider some Vintage sellers on the high street are charging insane amounts for the same type of garment.  I've not really shopped for vintage for a while, mainly because I've grown out of my obsession with vintage tea dresses, so it was a surprise to find quite a few things at Loot which caught my eye. I do love a good 60s/70s skirt, as the cut of them seems to suit my pear shape really well in comparison to new styles. However, my main qualm with vintage is that I always end up spilling something down my clothes or ruin a garment and I get really annoyed that the item has survived circa 30 years in the world, then as soon as I have them I ruin them hahaa.

I'd usually wait until spring/summer to crack out a light wash denim dress like this, but teamed with this amazing Emoji Jumper I got from Primark for a fiver the other day. I don't think I've ever worn a jumper as much as this one, so naturally I'm wearing it with everything I can.

If you fancy getting your paws on some swag from Loot Vintage, head over to their site and have a browse. You can also get 15% off by using the code: HELLOTERRI15 at the checkout.
