Brand Introduction: nügg

Lately I have been fully invested in my Sunday evening pampering regime. When you work full time and run your own blog (and newly acquired YouTube channel *hint* go watch here), you do find that two hours lazing in the bath before Monday comes around again can be absolute bliss. In my new house I don't have a shower, so daily baths have lost their charm quite quickly - but those two hours of relaxation in one of a Sunday are one of the best times of the week.

When new skincare brand nügg (from the founder of Tweezerman) asked if I wanted to try their new range of masks, not only for your face, but for your lips and eyes too, I jumped at the opportunity. Their lovely, fresh packaging containing single serve face masks were not only packed full of cruelty free blends of natural oils and some organic ingredients, but also affordable as well. With each mask costing around £2 each, they're certainly more worthwhile for me than a bath bomb for my Sunday night relax.

So, does the nügg range actually impress further than just in the packaging and product range? In short, yes.

I really am enjoying using the eye masks and lip mask once a week to perk my peepers up and rehydrate my pout. Usually during the weekend I end up forgetting to drink enough water and my lips suffer the consequences. The nügg lip mask reminds me a little of the Blistex treatment you can find in a tube, but Shea Butter and Coconut oil the nügg lip mask delivers much more of a moisture surge. It's a little strange to apply at first and looks a bit gross with the white cream in blotches around your lips! But leave it on for 20 minutes and wipe it off. You end up with lovely, soft lips which feel instantly relieved of any dryness.

The eye masks from nügg are bit different to a traditional eye cream or those sticky eye masks you can find. These are single serve tubes of eye mask which you apply with the cotton pads. Simply apply the gel formula generously under your eye area and pop the cotton pad on the top, to lock in the moisture. You feel a nice, refreshing cooling effect and once again, any dryness is instantly relieved. Perfect for after a wild weekend.

  1. I just love the packaging of these - they've got to be so much easier to use than those packet face masks! I saw these on another blog too but thought they were more expensive. I reckon I could give these a go for £2 a pop!
