Urban Decay are absolutely killing the jazzy palette game lately aren’t they? When this duo landed on my doorstep, it was as though my technicolour dreams had some true.
I’ve been using my Urban Decay VICE XX Vice Reloaded palette since I picked it up at the World Duty Free event a few months ago, and thought that colour range was spectacular. Then I opened up the UD Full Spectrum palette and it was like a unicorn had popped out perfectly neat rainbow turds in to each precious section.
Within this colourful selection, there are some shades you will find in previous versions. Goldmine is a personal favourite and one I wear daily. This type of gold shade with a green hue works perfectly with green eyes and red hair. I always sway towards shades of this type.
Each vertical row contains various shades of the same colour, which makes pairing your eye shadows a dream. The formula, as per usual Urban Decay quality, is highly pigmented, long lasting and with not a hint of chalkiness in sight.
For those of us who also like a bold lip to go with the bold eye look (because why only settle on one?), Urban Decay have also released a Limited Edition VICE lipstick palette. Urban Decay lipsticks are pretty amazing as it is. I always go for my trusty Gwen Stefani UD lipstick in Spiderwebs for a night out and sometimes pop a bit of Big Bang on over pink lipsticks for a nice, metallic look,
This Limited Edition palette has all the shades you need and more inside.
From the bold reds, the wearable nudes and the deeper shades for mixin’ – you would be hard pushed to not find a combination to suit your own tastes within the selection. Although its not ideal for on-the-go top ups, I have found that from experience these lipsticks barely need a retouch during a night out anyway….
Head to your local Urban Decay counter and have a gander!
