Hellloooo, you may have seen my sneaky twitpic of this little bundle of loveliness I received from Pure Face Care. I was chatting to them on Twitter initially because I discovered their bargain BB cream
in Home Bargains. They kindly asked if I’d like to try their Eye Roll On to which I agreed and they sent this awesome little lot! I’m pretty chuffed as I do love a good surprise.
The first thing that struck me was this amazing packaging. Pure is what I would probably describe as a ‘budget brand’ I don’t think I’ve seen anything in the range (in home bargains) costing more than £4. I think we can all agree these pretty coloured bottles certainly look like the design of a more pricey range.
There’s a toner, cleanser, eye make up remover and moisturiser, I couldn’t wait to try them all immediately… So I did….
The eye make up remover is a lovely creamy consistency, it smells so fresh. I’ve never used a make up remover before though (shocking, I know) so can’t really tell you how good it is at the job compared to others but it certainly did remove my eye make up.
The cleanser smells AMAZING. So so nice. I could smell it all day, it’s a ridiculously creamy yet light consistency and feels lovely on my skin.
And the moisturiser, although not the nicest smelling in the range, has miraculously cleared up a stubborn dry patch on my cheek that I’ve been suffering with for about 2 weeks! Can’t be bad.
I’ve not tried the face wash yet, but once again it smells delicious. The best thing so far is that non of the products I have tried have broken me out in (any more) spots. The formula’s are so light and fresh yet do the job they say they do on the bottle!
And finally, the eye roll on, which was the only product I expected to receive; instantly makes me eyes feel awake and fresh. Perfect for first thing in the morning when I can barely open them! I love anything cucumber scented so this is lovely. I think this range is so so good for a budget beauty buy and like I said they don’t look or feel like a cheapo line. You can find these things and more on the shelves of your local Home Bargains. I think their website is currently under construction but follow @PURE_facecare
on Twitter to keep up to date with any news on the brand. The only thing I would alter about the range is the packaging for the toner as the clicky top doesn’t keep the liquid in like it does the cream like products. But apart from that this range is a winner! If you head over to http://www.amazingface-uk.com/Pure-Range.html
they have loads more information about the products mentioned and more! And I have just learnt from Twitter that the Pure Skin Care range is all Cruelty Free and they certainly do not test on animals.
*and although these product were all gifted to me that doesn’t alter my opinion at all! Thank you Pure for being so kind and gifting them to me, I really appreciate it!
