I love love love the retro look of the camera, it feels like the first analogue SLR I bought back in the day when I did a National Diploma in Photography; a day before digital cameras too (yes, I’m that old). The main difference though is the weight. That weighed the same as a house brick, this however, is light and a lot more compact.
The camera is jam packed with features and I apologise that I cannot tell you more about it in better detail; despite my background studying photography I am unfortunately a little out of the loop when it comes to knowing what everything does, so I’m gonna have lots of fun playing with the settings and finding out what’s what.
Obviously I’ve been googling to find reviews of my new beloved and I must say I am so impressed with everything that I’ve read. Most are saying it’s 5 out of 5 stars and one of the poorer reviews I read simply said that it had TOO many features? How is that bad?!
All of these images were taken with my Nikon D40 DSLR. It’s an old camera but has done me proud during the 3 years I have had it. Speaking of which, I’ve put the word out on Twitter to sell it, so drop me a tweet if you’re interested! Great beginners DSLR!
