All the samples do come in a rather awkward little plastic sachet like the two shown. This is fine for the eyeshadows as it’s easy to dip the brush in, but for the blusher it’s a little more tricky. But for $1 I didn’t expect them to arrive in jewel encrusted boxes or anything. The reason I love these eyeshadows is because they’re so easy to apply. I often find eyeshadows, no matter what the type (baked, loose, creme) can be so cloggy looking on my eye lid. I also get really dry eyes when I use shadows most of the time. These though are no only the perfect colours for me (caviar dreams and jeweled taupe) but they don’t dry out, don’t crease and last for ages!
They blended together effortlessly and really are the perfect shades! I used jeweled taupe as the base and caviar dreams at the outer corner and blended inwards with the concealer brush they send in Joliebox a few months ago (which I find better for eyeshadows than concealers!) The colours are so pigmented I used hardly any and I’m sure the little sachets will last a good while despite their tiny contents. Other products I’ve used are 17’s black liquid eyeliner, Look Beauty stretch factor mascara and a marks and spencers eyebrow set for my eyebrows. I usually stick to just a flick of black eye liner but I think I may be using eyeshadows more often now I’ve found some that don’t dry my eyelids out!
