(Yeah, the title of the post is
a Slipknot lyric) Hands up if you have the memory of a sieve! NO? Just me then… I’m the most forgetful person I know, well that I think I know. Someone may be more forgetful than me but I’ve more than likely forgotten about it. That’s where this super awesome happy fun time planner from Personal Planner
Personal Planners are your very own customised pocket planner. They come in 3 different sizes – small, medium and large. The idea is so simple yet so effective! I’ve been after a nice ring bound diary since the beginning of the year to no avail. The existing ring bound diaries I’ve seen are either too big or too ugly. Not my pocket planner though, it’s tailored to my very own taste with my little illustrated self on the front. (Oh and if you’re wondering my super talented colleague Keiron White
for work, click his name to have a gander at his Deviant Art page!) You can pop whichever image you like on, I mean I know you’d all love to have me on the front but that wouldn’t make it very personal would it?!
Inside the first cover you can write your own message to yourself, or maybe to someone else if it’s a gift. It would be awesome for someone to unwrap at Christmas wouldn’t it! As you can see my message is pretty to the point. I am so bad at remembering things. There’s even a space to add you Twitter handle, e-mail address or whatever information you want really….
You can choose a design for your diary pages from a selection. Even though I despise mushrooms the mushroom design was so cute! you also choose your own colour scheme, I went for green, I looooveee green. The colour/design combo’s are impressive and you’ll find yourself sitting there for hours trying to decide.
There’s loads of pages at the back for you to customise too. I chose Sodoku to boost my little brain into action now and again, and some blank pages for notes and things. You can have anything though from squared paper, other puzzles or just keep it plain to doodle!
You can also choose what to have on the bottom of the diary pages, like To Do lists, mini calenders, idea of the week, the weather and so on, so much choice!! Go onto their website and have a play around, you don’t have to commit to the purchase until after you’ve spent ages deciding. The delivery time said it’d be 4-5 weeks but it actually came after 2 weeks. Prices start at £22 which may seem a little steep at first but when you consider in Paperchase a standard diary can cost over a tenner and isn’t personal at all, this soon starts to sound like value for money. You can also start the diary from your month of choosing. I chose August but it actually starts from the last week of July which is nice, I can start ‘planning’ my life sooner!
