Pure for Sure

I was going to save this Pure BB Cream for a BB cream round up post, but it’s just so UH-MAZING I’ve had to give it a spot all of it’s own. I did review this when I first saw in on the shelves of my local Home Bargains a while ago. Unfortunately despite it being such a lovely product the ‘light’ one they released was still slightly too dark for my skin tone… Until now my friends. They have formulated a new Ultra Light variant. And now, I think my life is a little more complete.

I immediately cracked out the previous BB cream I had bought to compare the colour. In the above images you can see on the right the bottom blob is a lot more sombre. Although it didn’t look orange or anything on me it definitely created a colour difference between my face and my neck! I actually didn’t mind that too much though as it made my skin feel so smooth. But now, as you can see the extra light one is a lot more pale friendly with an actual SKIN tone too it, not a weird orange hue. I find it really odd that generally, apart from the Look Beauty one I bought the other day,  BB creams never seem to come in actual light shades. So god bless you Pure for releasing one!

The Pure BB Cream boasts a lot on the packaging. Like regular BB creams it is pretty much a fancy tinted moisturiser. This one is more of a heavy coverage though and even with my uneven complexion and spots it covers a treat with one simple erm, rub around. It is buildable too so if the first coating doesn’t cover your face to the desired level you can always crack on another blob! With ingredients like Avocado Oil, Aloe Vera and Collagen it’s no wonder my skin loves this product. After each application it leaves my face looking so fresh and dewy without looking caked or greasy.

This product is perfect for me for the summer months. I’ve been finding my regular foundation (17 Miracle Matte in Fair) a little too heavy for this hot weather especially as I set that with a powder foundation. This has been a very welcomed product into my make up back as although the coverage is very good it still feels like my skin can breathe! You can pick this up very soon in your local Home Bargains for £1.99. If you’ve been disappointed by BB creams in the past then this may pleasantly surprise you. Keep checking back for a BB Cream video blog post too, it may not be the best but it will hopefully explain BB creams a little more and help you choose the right one for yourself!
