Orla Kiely x UNIQLO

It’s not very often that I immediately fall in complete love with an entire range of clothing, but seeing the Orla Kiely collaboration with UNIQLO has had that exact effect on me. I’ve not fallen in love with a collaboration like this since the Liberty x Nike one a few months ago. There’s not a single thing in the collection I wouldn’t happily add to my wardrobe. I am completely smitten! Unfortunately all the UNIQLO stores in the UK are all down south, near London. So I’m currently in turmoil deciding whether or not to make the investment and buy online! Sizing for Japanese brands can be very odd, with a size 10-12 in the UK often being a Large in shops like Muji and Superdry. Way to make us insecure Japan!
Number 1 is my absolute favourite out of these three, but all of these dresses tick so many boxes for me!! The cut of them would flatter my pear shaped little body no end and the peter pan collars are the perfect touch. The patterns are so bold yet chic with the most amazing range of colours. The contrasting collar and cuffs compliment the designs so well, they’re just *sigh* PERFECT. They’re unexpectedly cheap too weighing in at only £19.90 each!! ARGHHH. I need them in my life so much but after my recent house move I am bankrupt, wahhhh. Oh well, only 2 months to wait until my birthday. Wishful thinking may get me through. Have you checked out the range? What would you choose? I.NEED.IT.ALL.

and this isnt a sponsored post, i wish it was so i could treat myself to one!

it is such a great collaboration, probably one of the more successful designer/high st collabs of recent years.

I find Uniqlo quite good with sizing, so a M should fit a 10-12 quite well. Must say, I have eyed these bad boys up on my recent tripps to Uniqlo and they are just as pretty in the flesh. Quite lightweight though.

I did crack the tape measure out (much to my dismay) and despite putting on a few inches I think the medium should fit me! I'll just have to order one as a treat to see if it fits haha.

I bought the blue version of this dress and a pear print t-shirt, they are such good quality and a complete bargain. If you can get one, do it, it will last you a long time and is a timeless design.

I've loved Orla Kiely stuff for so so long but it's never been in my price range, now it is though! I'm jealous you own some already!

I'm 5' 3'' so I'm hoping they won't be too bad. If only there was one near me! I could try them on all day every day.
