Just a quick one today sharing with you my new shoes, ohhh yeaaaah. I’m not really a ‘shoe’ kind of girl, despite having countless pairs of brogues and loafers and literally living in my Barratts Boots for the last 3 months. I’ve been after some wedges for a while now though, my housemate bought back some particularly nice and comfortable ones from her travels in Thailand that she had specially made as copies of Mui Mui wedges (!!). I borrowed them one night then couldn’t bring myself to borrow them regularly though as they’re kind of special. Luckily for me though, after tweeting those bad boys, Victoria from Victoria’s Vintage
came to the rescue! Not only did she send me the link to these lovely velvet and patent wedges, she also knew some super awesome H&M Discount Codes too!
These wedges are a little higher than I’m used too and I worked out the reason my housemates were so comfortable was because the bottom of the sole is completely flat, unlike these and all the other’s I’ve tried one which kind of tip up at the end (a bit like my nose?!). I find this makes them a little more difficult to get used to, but as I’ll probably only be wearing these after copious amounts of gin I’m sure I will manage. Because the H&M Discount Codes were free delivery and £5 off when you spend £10 I had to add a really hideously beautiful bug necklace to my shopping basket. These shoes were only £8 to start with so I didn’t mind spending an extra £3 to get a fiver off! If you check my instagram (helloterrilowe) you can have a little gander but I’ll be wearing it a lot because it’s so utterly beautiful in a really gross way.
The second bargain I picked up was these shoes from Debenhams, I noticed them in store but they only had size 3 left. They’re from the Kids Section and a brand called Blue Zoo, who I’d actually wear a lot more of if they did bigger sizes in the clothing range! Everything is so cute and quirky. Anyway, because I couldn’t find these in store I looked online and they were reduced to freaking £8! Also I didn’t realise Debenhams did free delivery/in store collection, which is awesome as I’m always out when the post man comes and having to go to the depot is an absolute pain! I feel like the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland with these on, even though they’re a little tight, I’m sure the Queen of Hearts suffered to look good too.
Whenever I say ‘Shoes’ in my head I always think of the above video…”These shoes rule…These shoes SUCK!” An old one but a classic. Have you picked up any mega bargains lately? I’m so pleased I got both of these pairs for a cheaper price than buying just one at full RRP! God bless you Victoria, God bless you H&M, God bless you Debenhams, GOD BLESS US EVERYONE.
