I absolutely love dressing like an extra from This Is England. Fred Perry
galore and fake doc’s alongside a (non-racist) punk attitude. Yeah, just call me Combo… Or maybe not. My excitement for wearing a bit of Fred lately stems from the fact that This Is England ’90 is on it’s way soon, and it has prompted me to dig out my Amy Winehouse x Fred Perry bowling shirt and my old faithful Fred Perry cardigan. If Fred Perry clothing was cheaper I would literally have a wardrobe full of the stuff, but alas I have to wait until I spot a bargain in the outlet at Cheshire Oaks before I can indulge, and that’s where these two pieces were from.
You may have seen me instagram the SHIT out of these new velvet faux Dr Marten shoes, as they are my new true love. I am absolutely besotted with the little bastards. I ordered them last week from Hidden Fashion
and they cost me a grand total of £9.98 (£5.99 for the shoes and £3.99 p+p) and I think that was a small price to pay for something so bloody beautiful.
As you may have noticed my hair seems to be decidedly shorter in this blog post, and that’s because I’ve had to remove my Dirty Looks Extensions
ready for having some shiny new hair extensions professional fitted by Beauty Works
tomorrow at the Pro Hair expo in Manchester. I’m so scared! I’ve not been a hairdressers in about 4 years, because the last time I went I came out like a mushroom, but I’ve been reassured I’m in good hands, despite it being a bit of a demonstration thing in front of loads of people (I think?!)
I really love this skirt but haven’t worn it for a while, it’s a purpley-grey tweed/felt number from Monsoon, but I got it from a charity shop about 3 years ago for £1.99! It’s a bit of a tricky one to wear, as I have to make sure I don’t eat lot’s of burgers or pasta before I put it on, as it doesn’t half emphasise a food baby. After going to the gym 3 times a week for a few weeks now though, I think I’m getting away with it….
Hope y’all having a grand weekend anyways! This was just a quickie because I’m off to Manchester this evening and getting some mega chows down, but haven’t decided where to go yet. Manchester is so great for food and I’m stuck between Almost Famous, Southern Eleven, Luche Libre, Home Sweet Home and MORE!! There’s so many, maybe I will do a food crawl, bit like a pub crawl but way more expensive and fattening….
