Have you seen the latest from Asda? No? NO? Well, before you get gawping at their awesome new home ware selections (including that KILLER Princes Trust range
) try having a gander at their George section. As you know, I am a massive fan of Supermarket clothes shopping and Asda is consistently the best of the best. I find other retailers to be a bit drab in comparison and seem to cater for a more mature audience, but not through lack of trying either. The cut of other supermarket’s clothing ranges I find really odd, such as the skirt lengths and the hip to waist ratios and the like. But George seem to get it just right every time, especially in the G21 range. Where I often find myself picking up erm, EVERYTHING each time I pop in to buy my sachets of instant mash. I guess because of the nature of the environment which clothing is sold in supermarkets, you also find that the ranges change so frequently because of people visiting the stores on a weekly basis. This can be awesome as you know they’re striving to keep up with the latest trends, but also a little disappointing if you see something one week, as you need to get it right there and then as is might not be there the next! Not only does George stay on trend ALL THE DAMN TIME, they also have such affordable prices too. Their range of dresses
continuously reels me in and I even managed to pick up the last dress
I bought for only £3! With an entire outfit including your fancy pants coming in for like, around £50 you literally can’t go wrong. I do find the stores which are on more business park locations tend to have a wider range in store, including the more quirky pieces. And I do love a good quirky garment. Alas, for today’s little selection I’ve gone a bit more edgy and spied this awesome little black dress which can pretty much be worn for any occasion. It’s got a cute little lacey cut out and the simple cut means you can either wear it on a night out on it’s own or team it with that mucky brown biker jacket there. I’ve been lusting after a (faux) leather biker jacket since last year, but I just can’t quite pull them off. But maybe I’m just not wearing them right, as I never even considering wearing them with a plain black dress, derp. I’m also a little bit in love with those boots and their block heel. They take a little bit of the military vibe and twist it in to the perfect pair of spring time ankle boots.
Have you spotted anything awesome from Asda lately?
If not, what’s wrong with you!? Hahaha.
*in collaboration with the fab folks at Asda. But you knows I love them.
