So I’ve already featured the ultimate holiday essential dress in my previous M&S blog post (you can that find by clicking here), which not only turned out to be a brilliant dress for lazy summer days, but I’ve also been wearing it non-stop for work! I just love the vintage style of it and the colours are slowly easing me in to the world of wearing white on a daily basis. So a winner all round.
As part of the campaign, Marks and Spencer also sent me some holiday beauty essentials in the form of the goodies in the image above! They thought of everything from sun protection for your body and face, to maintaining your tan with the aid of the Fake Bake Amplify Gradual Tan. I had the ‘Sports’ version of this before and it somehow made my skin an odd shade of yellow, but this newer version is doing a brilliant job of making my pale skin a subtle shade of bronze. It also smells amazingly tropical with a hint of creamy coconut, yum.
I’ve mentioned before about how good the Marks and Spencer Beauty Hall is, and I always find myself picking up bargains in it! They do a range of brilliant brands like Nuxe, Stila and Philip Kingsley so it’s also great if you have one of the late night M&S’s open on a retail park near you and you need a last minute present for someone! Seriously, the Wolstanton branch in Stoke on Trent has been a life saver since it opened last year. And it’s also located by a 24hr Drive Thru Starbucks so you can treat yourself to all your hard shopping work on the way home….
I’m not actually going on holiday, but I’m pretty sure these items will come in handy for Leeds Festival when it finally comes around! Although I am a little frightened of using that James Read Sleep Mask Tan. For someone so pale, I dread to think what I’d wake up looking like! Although the fragrance free, non staining formula does intrigue me a little.
