The Beauty Outlet, Freeport Talke

The Beauty Outlet, Freeport Talke

If you’re local to Stoke on Trent, then you might have heard of the little outlet shopping centre towards the north of the city called Freeport. Freeport Talke is about 5 minutes away from my house and I often nip in to have a little browse when I can’t be bothered with the parking and fuss of going up to Hanley. Since Freeport opened, it’s gone through a few waves and troughs of being a great place to shop, to being a bit of a ghost town – but now it seems new shops are opening more often and there’s much more to see and buy then there has been in previous times. There’s many bargains to be had and it’s quite rare that I’ll leave empty handed nowadays. Whether it’s filling a bag of swag at the ‘Talke Scents’ which stocks a range of Yankee Candles  and Bomb Cosmetics stuff, to the Nike Outlet with SO many cut price trainers for sale, I do love a good bargain.

One of the newest editions to the centre is ‘The Beauty Outlet’. Which is basically a beauty bloggers idea of budget beauty HEAVEN. I didn’t actually expect to be as wow-ed as I was when I got there, and I was kindly offered a £50 voucher to go WILD with – and good God did I go wild. I expected it to be a little bit like the shop Bodycare, but it’s actually a MILLION TIMES BETTER and has pretty much the entire range of W7 Cosmetics  for sale. As you can see, I certainly got my fill of that! I don’t think anything I bought cost more than around £3.99. The only thing I picked up with cost more than that was the Fake Bake Tan Bland to Tanned, which is a fake tan especially for pale girls which cost £12.99.

Not onllllyyyyy do they stock budget beauty brands and a range of other high street make up products, but they also sell a LOAD of lines which you can’t buy in the high street shops because they have either been discontinued or the brand has changed the packaging. Things like the Tanya Burr make up  range and the Look Beauty range were all there to be bought at discount prices. If your favourite foundation ever gets discontinued just hunt down your local Beauty Outlet to see if they have, because it’s more than likely that they will! I absolutely LOVED the Look Beauty range when it was in Superdrug so I’m so pleased I can have products like their Holiday Glow powder back in my life, and for £1.99 too.
I’ll be doing some reviews of the separate products in some blog posts over the next few weeks, but for now I literally just couldn’t wait to share the AMAZING NEWS THAT THE BEAUTY OUTLET EXISTS! It’s also a nail varnish lovers dream, as they have more nail varnishes in one place than my delicate eyes have ever seen before. The below selection is only about a quarter of the polishes on display. Absolute dream.

So, if you like beauty, nail varnish and a bargain to boot – hunt down your local Beauty Outlet store, or make a trip to Freeport Talke to have a good gander!
