3 Party Season Must Haves

As if you need an excuse to party by allocating it to just one season? I don’t know about you, but I make sure that I have a good ol’ shindig at least once a month. Lashings of lipstick, extra eyeliner and a bit of glitter here and there; it’s a year round party in my world. And I need little excuse.
The more traditional version of ‘party season’ is now upon us though. One where people let their hair completely down and go all out for the annual Christmas parties. Whether it’s a work, family or friends occasion, there are 3 essential party season must-haves you need to complete your look.

Glitter, Sequins and Glitz, Oh my!

As mentioned, I need no excuse for glitter in my life. Whether I’m popping on a dress with a sequin accent, or going the whole discoball hog with a completely sequin drenched number. If there is a party there must be sparkles. For Christmas time you’re going to want to go for gold, silver or even green to ensure you’ve really unleashed the festive spirit. However, invest in a multi-coloured sequin dress and there’s no reason you can’t go bold all year round.

Bold Lipstick

With Autumn Winter in full swing, it’s time to invest in some bolder, deeper shades of lipstick to wash away the pastel hues of the summer gone by. Berry reds with a blue tone are perfect for party season as they not only make an impact, but also the blue tone helps to make your teeth look a little white. There’s a tip for ya! Fake It ‘Til Ya Make It

With the lack of real sun in the sky and the distinctly different cold nights getting in the way of, well, everything, you’re going to want to invest in a good fake tan. Especially when you’ve got your best sequin party dress on and black opaque tights simply don’t finish the look in style. My favourite fake tan at the moment is actually the super affordable St Moritz one from Home Bargains. Simply spray it on and pat over with a mitt and you’re ready to go!
